Homeowners from across Suffolk, Nassau, and Queens counties crowded the Long Island Sports Hub & Hockey Arena in Syosset, NY the weekend of January 16th & 17th to see what they could find at the Long Island Home Show. Held by American Consumer Shows, these events are for homeowners to compare local 
businesses and take advantage of show specials, whether they’re planning a remodel or have already started.
Green Art saw a lot of traffic at their large 10×20′ booth, which included a beautiful 8′ Omega kitchen cabinet display along with a Kohler Whitehaven farmhouse sink. San Souci, Tresham, and Veil toilets from Kohler lined the back wall next to two vanities – one of which (Fairmont) was purchased on-site and picked up after the show! The Veil impressed booth visitors with its motion-sense seat cover that opened as they walked by and closed by itself.
A Slik mirror free-standing tub caught the attention of many attendees, some of whom decided to test it out for themselves. A Moen bath filler accompanied the tub, adding a sophisticated look. The tower displaying faucets and shower heads from Riobel (a Canadian manufacturer) stood tall at the corner of the exhibit. Omega, Riobel, and Green Art representatives were present to answer the many questions asked.
The music filling the air came from the Broan vent fan with bluetooth connectivity. You read that right – a bathroom vent fan that connects to your phone to play your music while
you shower. Another music maker at the booth was the Kohler Moxie showerhead with the same bluetooth capability. The Moxie and Flipside showerheads were available for a special sale price at the show, along with an 8×8″ Empire Industries lighted makeup mirror with 5x magnification, which was raffled off to a lucky winner.
Fun freebies like pens, post-its, notepads, and house-shaped tape measure keychains were given out by Green Art, who is excited to participate in the next LI Home Show at the Long Island Sports Hub the weekend of April 2nd & 3rd, 2016.
