The owners of this New York home had a vision – to create a dining and entertaining area where family and friends could congregate and converse while cooking and enjoying meals together. The family wanted the heart of their home to be a modern yet elegant space where they would spend time every day. They had always wanted a primarily white kitchen that maintained a feeling of warmth and charm, and they were confident Green Art’s kitchen designers could make it happen.
The breakfast bar is the first to catch attention, with white Dura Supreme Cabinets that hang from the 12’ ceiling above it. “The glass doors on all sides of the cabinets give the area a dramatic yet open and airy feel,” explains Helen Murray of Green Art.
The center island, with its 120” x 54” dark countertop, compliments the white marble breakfast bar nicely. A 48” Viking cooktop, bar sink, microwave, and Marvel wine refrigerator completes the island, creating a practical space for family and friends to gather. The sleek polished nickel faucets and fixtures from ROHL Faucets’ Country Collection give the room a charming look.
Set within the perimeter is the 36” SubZero refrigerator along with a double wall oven and warming drawer from Décor. A white farm house sink from Blanco sits below the window with a lovely view of the backyard, making dishwashing a pleasure.
“We asked Green Art to create the heart of our home,” said the homeowners, “and we could not be any happier, thank you!”
