If updating your outdated bathroom is something you’ve always wanted to do, you’re not alone. Remodeling enhances aesthetics, functionality, and sometimes your environmental footprint. It also increases the value of your home when the time comes to put it on the market. Green Art offers only top-quality products, which is exactly why the owners of this Brooklyn home came to us.
The homeowners decided to install two vanities to create more countertop and storage space. The vanities were made by Omega Cabinetry and are maple wood with a Smokey Hills finish and Plainfield door style.
A rectangular Kohler Verticyl undermounted sink, which also comes in round or oval, sits below the countertop while the Grohe Atrio faucet & handles compliment the other Chrome fixtures nicely.
A truly marvelous innovation showcased in this gorgeous bathroom is the Robern Uplift medicine cabinet. The door
lifts straight up rather than swinging out like traditional medicine cabinets. It features outlets inside for easier accessibility to plug in beauty and grooming tools, a phone charger, or music speakers. You can even customize the cabinet to include a small TV! The possibilities are endless. Interior lighting allows for extra visibility at night and the defogger quickly clears up the mirror so there’s no waiting to see your reflection. I think we can all agree – this medicine cabinet is certainly a modern masterpiece. The contemporary wall sconces on either side are also from Robern.
The Kohler Adair toilet offers Comfort Height® (chair-height) seating, which makes it easier to sit down and stand up. Its one-piece design makes this compact, high-efficiency toilet easy to clean. With a 1.28 gallon flush,
the Adair provides significant water savings (up to 16,500 gallons/year) compared to a standard 3.5 gallon toilet, yet its performance isn’t compromised. The AquaPiston® technology allows water to flow into the bowl from all sides, increasing the power and effectiveness of the flush.
Now that’s what you call a “win-win.”
The walk-in shower features inset shelving which matches the floor tile. The thermostatic control allows the homeowners to set the temperature of their water while the triple levers allow them to control the rain shower, handshower, and body sprays separately, all of which are from Grohe.
What better way to end a luxurious bath or shower than with a heated towel from the Virtu towel warmer? All in all, we think this bathroom came out beautifully and these Brooklynites are more than satisfied.
“My contractor recommended Green Art,” said the homeowner. “Green Art had the best selection and best quality of supplies and materials, and Michael Ferrero was a terrific salesperson – responsive, knowledgeable, easy to work with.”
