When renovating a bathroom, there are many components to consider – the sink, the faucet, the toilet, the tub, the shower, the tile – the list goes on. Now multiply that by three and you’ll get the magnitude of this triple bathroom remodel in Manhasset, NY. Most of the plumbing products supplied by Green Art were Kohler, their premier manufacturer.
“We chose Kohler products for our bathrooms because we felt they have the best and most consistent quality,” said the homeowner. “They offer a wide selection of styles and finishes that fit our design concept, state of the art features, and durability.”
#1: THE POWDER ROOM
The homeowners chose a one-piece duel-flush Kohler Saile for their powder room. Having a duel-flush can save them about 6,000 gallons of water annually by providing the option of a lower .8 gallon flush setting (compared to the standard 1.6 gallon flush). The sink basin is an under-mount Kohler Caxton and the wall-mounted faucet is Kohler Purist in an eye-catching Vibrant Brushed Bronze, similar to the Aged Brass finish of the vanity legs. The vanity top is honed Crema Marfil marble matching the polished Crema Marfil floor mosaic. Replacing wall tiles with black floral wallpaper is a wonderful choice as the black/gold trend is becoming more popular, as seen in Kohler’s inspiration pages: Black Bathroom Inspiration
#2: THE HALL BATH
A Contemporary Square Rain Shower Head along with an Awaken hand shower and slide bar from Kohler make for a truly luxurious bathing experience inside the spacious 5.5’ Kohler Archer tub. And what better way to dry you off after an amazing shower than with a nice, heated towel? A Mr. Steam towel warmer is a great addition to any bathroom. The Polished Chrome bath and sink faucets are from Kohler’s Pinstripe collection. Icera’s Muse under-mount sink is both anti-microbial and non-staining with its porcelain glaze, keeping the bathroom basin clean year-round. Switching from a pedestal sink to a custom walnut vanity from Omega Cabinetry adds both storage and countertop space. Carrera marble tile surrounds the room, matching the countertop, while the floor is Polished Basket Weave Marble with black detailing.
#3: THE MASTER BATH
At last, the pièce-de-résistance. Fixtures from Kohler’s Stillness and Purist collection populate the shower, including a slide bar. Corner seating and built-in shelving adds comfort and convenience within the Limestone tile. Also from the Kohler Purist collection are the Polished Nickel faucets with cross handles. Two Kohler Caxton under-mount sinks complete the double vanity, which is a Littleton door style with Portobello finish from Omega Cabinetry and topped with a Super White Penta Quartz countertop.
The Kohler San Souci compact toilet is a perfect fit in this space with its comfort height and fast, powerful AquaPiston® flush technology. Another Mr. Steam towel warmer makes this master bath a true masterpiece.
